In her book, “It’s still Possible,” Karen Moore writes, “Believing in the idea of possibility means that you believe you have options, prospects and opportunities ahead.” And that is what we are looking at as First UMC Randleman and Bethany UMC Franklinville begin to work together as a charge. In fact, much excitement has been felt among the members of both congregations about what God will do next. And whatever that may be, I agree with St. Paul who writes in Colossians 1:29, “To do this, I work and struggle, using Christs great strength that works so powerfully in me.” You see, we cannot do anything under our own strength—it must be done through His strength. And so, I invite you to unite with us in this new endeavor that is filled with options, prospects and opportunities by joining us for worship at either First UMC at 9:30-10:30 or at Bethany from 10:45-11:45. After all, when your heart is full of the Spirit of possibility, amazing things can happen.
